SPARCS’s objective is to support the transformation of European cities into Sustainable energy Positive & zero Carbon Communities by creating innovative
solutions and citizen-centric ecosystems that are equipped to bring about meaningful change. Key factors of SPARCS solutions include technologies for energy positivity in districts and building, energy storage, e-mobility, flexible grid management as well as stakeholders and citizens΄ engagement.
The current deliverable is part of Task 5.13 (Project Development Report), aiming to provide an evidence-based and in-depth understanding for key implementation measures applied in the SPARCS Fellow City (FC) of Kifissia, as the basis for the development of a long-term vision towards a smart city.
The current deliverable is based on the Implementation Plan (D5.8), which presented a baseline profile of the City of Kifissia and several early-stage project ideas based on the Lighthouse Cities (LHC)package solutions. The baseline profile highlights quantifiable sustainability performance of the city, its strengths and weaknesses around carbon transformation.
This deliverable has been submitted, but it is pending official approval.
