The city of Leipzig will moderate the HOT SPOT event on the topic of “Thinking together about the energy transition and monument preservation” on 20 April. 

The event will focus on the energy transition and preservation of historical monuments. Lighthouse City Leipzig’s appearance is characterised by its Wilhelminian architecture and other listed buildings that should be preserved. At the same time, the energy turnaround and the expansion of renewable energy require the roof of these historic buildings to accommodate the installation of photovoltaic systems.
