In this SPARCS webinar, we will present and discuss how virtual power plants will affect the future of the real estate. We will present research findings and practical examples of how virtual power plants are operating in Espoo lighthouse city.

The three presentations of the webinar are:

• Electric car charging as a part of a virtual power plant: Case Ilmatar-arena. Sami Laakso, energy engineer, Siemens
• Forecast models of energy consumption and production in Sello shopping centre. Kalevi Piira, researcher, VTT
