The POCITYF and Sharing Cities projects present their approaches in making historical cities more sustainable

Cities with heritage sites usually face many technical and legal barriers when they start the process of becoming more sustainable. During this webinar, organised by POCITYF in cooperation with the Sharing Cities project, they will present the first steps that POCITYF is taking in this process: by analysing the legal framework at European, Portuguese and Dutch level and by presenting some of the technical barriers that the project’s Lighthouse city of Évora is facing and the solutions that have been put in place to overcome them. During the webinar, the approach that has been followed by  Sharing Cities in the deep retrofitting of historical buildings in Lisbon and London will also be presented.
