In June, the SPARCs consortium partners, BABLE, City of Leipzig, Stadtwerke Leipzig GmBh, University of Leipzig and Leipziger Wohnungs- und Baugesellschaft kicked off the Smart Energy Scale-up project with the City of Leipzig. Over the next few months, the BABLE team will support Leipzig in developing a technology roadmap to achieve its ambitious net zero carbon goals for 2050 building on the planned work being done under the SPARCs Project. The project is funded by the European Commission and European Investment Bank (EIB) under the URBIS Programme.
