SPARCS and POCITYF are hosting a joint event at EU Week of Regions and Cities 2022. Bringing together 15 cities from the EU-funded smart city projects will share insights, tools and methods for citizen engagement as a driver of a successful clean energy transition. Hands-on experience with engagement practices will be presented by the cities of Leipzig in Germany and Alkmaar in the Netherlands. The audience will discuss future challenges associated with creating energy positive communities, looking at how to inspire people to actively participate in creating resilient, fair and inclusive social change in cities.
