The SPARCS scientific paper – Positioning Positive Energy Districts in European Cities by Oscar Lindholm, Hassam ur Rehman and Francesco Reda from VTT – got the first prize in the Buildings 2021 Best Paper Award.

The publication –  written within the scope of SPARCS – examines the aspects that should be accounted for when planning and implementing different types of PEDs in various regions in Europe,

It is selected, among five other winners, based on the number of downloads, citations, reviews of reviewers, academic editors, and novelty of the article by a selection committee chaired by the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr David Arditi.
