SPARCS
On February 2nd, 2023 in the neighborhood meeting place of the LWB the film "Checker Tobi and the secret of our planet" was screened presented and pedagogically supervised. Numerous families from the neighbourhood were invited to the event and more than 40 children and adults attended. Goal of the day was to sensitize and inspire children about environmental and climate issues.
This event is part of several events organised by seecon Ingenieure GmbH within the framework of the European funded project SPARCS. The screening of the film was made possible thanks mainly to the collaboration with Landesfilmdienst Sachsen e.V., and both the active support and contribution and the provision of the room by the social team of Leipziger Wohnungs- und Baugesellschaft mbH (LWB).
SPARCS supports Leipzig on its way to becoming a modern future-oriented city: intelligently networked, CO2-neutral and worth living in for all citizens. One district in the west of Leipzig („Dunckerviertel“) acts as a modell Quartier for the project. With the locals together, an environmentally and climate-friendly residential area is to be developed.
What's next? Workshop in March 2023
On March the 3rd seecon in cooperation with the Caritas Leipzig and Wohnen & Service Leipzig GmbH (WSL) will provide tips for reducing heating costs and saving energy and present digital solutions for tracking and controlling energy consumption.
