The city of Kladno participated in a kick off of CrAFt cities in Prague organized in November by CVUT and Operator ICT as part of inter-project cooperation between SPARCS and CrAFt. CrAFt is the EU-funded project for cities to become climate-neutral, beautiful and inclusive. The event was targeted to peer-to-peer learning and co-creation between CrAFt Cities. The goal was to facilitate sharing of experiences with implementing New European Bauhaus principles to accelerate the transition to climate neutrality.
60 participants on site and 60 online from more than 25 European countries took part. Participants were representatives of cities, universities and European organisations. Cities together identified common topics and challenges in the projects, what are the fields in which they would like to share their experiences. They made their expectations clear, more of the cities mentioned sharing knowledge, support and inspiration. The meeting brought new contacts, ideas and joint plans for the future.
